The biggest challenge I face with conferencing is keeping the time short. I would like to see all my students throughout the week, but it seems like I only get to talk with one or two students a day. I need to work on keeping conferences shorter and to the point. Afterall, the writing conference is supposed to be about students and their writing, not about me.
